Odin's Warrior Tribe and Black Horse Forge in Fredericksburg, Virginia are again partnering to co-host another all-day blacksmithing event for active and veteran military members and law enforcement on Saturday,  2 September 2023. The event includes forging a railroad spike knife and a BBQ dinner from Mission BBQ. The event is FREE for those qualified. There are spaces for nine. There will be plenty of Tribe members on site. The Tribe is paying for the cost of all the forging material by donation. You must register here and in the notes section of the registration specify that you are either an active or veteran military member or law enforcement officer. Those who register will be sent a confirmation email with more details. The event starts at 0800 am and will end around 6pm. OWT will provide coffee and light snacks and drinks during the day and there will be a free catered BBQ dinner with drinks from Mission BBQ of Stafford, Virginia around 1630 hours.

 

Required attire: Close-toed shoes or boots. Clothing must be of natural fiber (cotton, wool, flax, hemp, etc.), not synthetics as those will stick to the skin if burned/heated enough.

Do not come if you feel sick or have recently tested positive for COVID-19.

 

Odin’s Warrior Tribe is a 501c3 non-profit and a registered charity in the State of Virginia and Black Horse Forge is also a non-profit run by veterans and located at 29 Utah Place Ste 107 Fredericksburg, VA 22405 where the event will take place. While there is no charge for this event, donations to OWT and Black Horse Forge are always welcome and tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
